Aivastark
UAE · Salons, barbershops and spas · Arabic and English

The AI booking agent for UAE salons and spas. It answers Instagram and WhatsApp, then books the chair.

Clients ask what a blow-dry costs, who does colour and whether you come to Al Barsha, mostly in DMs and often while your team has their hands full. Aivastark answers in Arabic or English from your own price list, books the appointment on Google Calendar or Cal.com, and passes the tricky ones to your front desk.

What is an AI receptionist for a salon?

An AI receptionist for a salon answers client messages and booking requests for you, from your own price list, services and opening hours. Aivastark's agent replies in Arabic or English on Instagram, WhatsApp and your website, tells clients what a service costs and how long it takes, books the appointment on Google Calendar or Cal.com once the client confirms, and hands the chat to your team when a client asks for a person. It answers messages, not phone calls.

What clients ask before they book

Most messages to a salon or spa are the same few questions, in Arabic or English, sent on Instagram and WhatsApp while your team is busy with clients. The agent answers them from your price list and FAQs, and passes the rest to your front desk.

  • How much is a blow-dry for long hair?

Prices by hair length, add-ons and packages, quoted from your own price list in the client's language.

  • Who does balayage best?

Which stylist, therapist or barber does what, from the team notes you write.

  • Anything free on Saturday afternoon?

Open times read from Google Calendar or Cal.com, and the appointment booked in the chat.

  • Do you come to the house in Mirdif?

Home service areas, minimum spend and call-out fees, from the policy you add.

  • What are your Ramadan hours?

Seasonal hours from an FAQ you edit before Ramadan and again for Eid.

  • Can you do this design?

A client sends a photo of nails or a hairstyle; the agent reads it and answers from your services.

Prices and services

Your price list, answered in Arabic and English

Upload your price list and service menu, write the answers your front desk gives every day, and the agent replies from them in the language each client writes in. Arabic-script questions are translated before the search, so an English menu still gets an Arabic answer, and Arabizi gets Arabizi back.

  • Price list and service menu

    All plans

PDF, Word (DOCX), TXT or Markdown: treatments, durations, add-ons and packages.

  • Who does what

    All plans

Write who specialises in colour, bridal hair or men's fades, and the agent answers from it.

  • Seasonal hours

  • Replies in the client's language

Arabic script gets Arabic, English gets English and Arabizi gets Arabizi, read from each message.

A price question, two ways

Example
  • كم سعر قص الشعر مع التصفيف؟

  • قص الشعر مع التصفيف ١٨٠ درهماً للشعر المتوسط، و٢٢٠ درهماً للشعر الطويل.

  • w kam el pedicure?

  • El pedicure b 90 dirham, w ma3 el gel 130.

The reply follows each message's language.
Appointments

Books the appointment, not just the enquiry

Connect Google Calendar or Cal.com and the agent reads your open times before it offers any, asks for the client's name and email, and books the appointment in the chat once the client confirms. It can move an appointment it booked to a new time. With Calendly it sends a one-time booking link instead.

  • Open times only

    Starter+

Offers slots that are free on your calendar at that moment.

  • Booked in the chat

    Starter+

On Google Calendar or Cal.com after the client confirms; the invitation goes to their email.

  • Moves an appointment

    Starter+

Reschedules a booking it made when the client asks, after they confirm the new time.

  • Calendly gets a link

    Starter+

If Calendly is your scheduler, the agent sends a one-time link for the client to finish on.

Instagram and WhatsApp

Your front desk

Hands the tricky ones to your front desk

With human handoff on, the agent passes the chat to your team when a client asks for a person, sounds upset or still isn't helped after a few tries. “حولني لموظف” and “can I speak to the manager?” both count, and your receptionist picks it up in one inbox with the whole thread.

  • Asks for a person

In Arabic or English, the chat goes to your team with the thread and the client's details.

How it works

Taking bookings in your DMs in four steps

  1. 1

Add your menu and your team

Upload the price list, write who does what, and add FAQs for home service areas and seasonal hours.

  2. 2

    Connect your calendar

Google Calendar or Cal.com, so the agent offers only open times and books them (Starter).

  3. 3

    Connect Instagram and WhatsApp

Sign in with Meta, pick your account and number, and keep the WhatsApp Business app on the reception phone.

  4. 4

    Book a test appointment

Message your own salon in Arabic and English, send a photo, book a slot, then move it.

Know before you start

What it doesn't do

It answers messages and books appointments on your calendar. It isn't salon software, and it doesn't phone or text anyone.

  • No Fresha, Booksy or Vagaro

Bookings go to Google Calendar or Cal.com; there is no Fresha, Booksy or Vagaro integration.

  • One calendar, not a rota per stylist

It books into the calendar you connect. Name your stylists in your FAQs so it can say who does what, and let your team assign the chair.

  • No SMS and no reminders

There is no SMS channel and the agent doesn't send appointment reminders; the client gets the calendar invitation by email when it books.

  • Messages, not phone calls

It works on DMs, WhatsApp and website chat. There is no phone line, so calls to the salon still need a person.

  • Stored in Tokyo, not the UAE

Client chats and your knowledge base are kept in AWS's Tokyo region.

FAQ

Questions about salon and spa booking

What is the best booking chatbot for a salon in Dubai?

One that answers the price and availability questions clients send on Instagram and WhatsApp, in Arabic and English, and then books the slot instead of asking them to call. Aivastark does that from Starter, booking on Google Calendar or Cal.com. It doesn't replace salon software, and it doesn't write bookings into one.

Can it book appointments from Instagram DMs?

Yes, from Starter. A client asks in a DM, the agent offers open times from Google Calendar or Cal.com, asks for a name and email, and books once the client confirms; the calendar invitation goes to their email. With Calendly it sends a one-time booking link instead. The same works on WhatsApp, Messenger and your website.

Does it remind clients about their appointment?

No. There is no SMS channel, and the agent doesn't send reminder messages on WhatsApp or anywhere else. When it books on Google Calendar or Cal.com, the client receives the calendar invitation by email, and any reminders come from the calendar or from your own team.

Can it tell clients which stylist does what?

Yes, from what you write. Add a short note on each stylist, therapist or barber, such as who does colour, bridal hair or men's fades, and the agent answers from it. Bookings go to the calendar you connect, so your team still assigns the chair.

Does it work with Fresha or Booksy?

No. There is no Fresha, Booksy or Vagaro integration, so the agent can't see or write bookings in them; it books on Google Calendar or Cal.com. If your diary lives in salon software, the agent can still answer prices and policies and collect the client's details for your team to book.

Can it answer our Ramadan and Eid opening hours?

Yes. Add an FAQ with your Ramadan hours before the month starts and edit it when the Eid dates are announced, and the agent answers from it in Arabic and English. Do the same for summer hours or a branch that is closed; it answers from whatever the FAQ says, so keep it current.

Is our salon's client data stored in the UAE?

No. Conversations and your knowledge base are stored in AWS's Tokyo region, isolated per organisation. Aivastark doesn't train or fine-tune AI models on them, and a GDPR Data Processing Agreement comes with every plan. Aivastark holds no compliance certification, so check your own obligations before you go live.

Does it pick up when clients ring the salon?

No. Aivastark works on messages: Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram, email and your website chat. There is no phone line and no SMS, so calls to the salon still need a person. In-widget voice calling on your website is a beta on Growth.
