## Where Gorgias is the better choice

Stated plainly, because a comparison that wins every row is an advert:

- Genuinely deep ecommerce workflows: refunds, cancellations, order edits and returns handled inside the conversation. Aivastark doesn't issue refunds or cancel orders.
- Built for a staffed support team working a queue all day, with the reporting that implies.
- A large Shopify install base and a mature app ecosystem around it.
- Not priced per agent: Basic and above include 500 seats.
- Revenue attribution, included from the Pro plan.
- A longer trial: 30 days with no card, against Aivastark's 7 days with a card.

## Per-interaction billing is the thing to model

Gorgias bills its AI Agent at roughly $0.90–$1.00 per interaction on top of the helpdesk subscription, sold as a monthly bundle sized to your plan: 30 interactions on Starter and Basic, 190 on Pro, 530 on Advanced. At low volume that is fine. At ten thousand interactions a month it is the dominant line on the invoice, and it scales with exactly the traffic you were hoping to automate away.

Two details matter when you model it: interactions above your bundle cost $1.50, and each one also uses a helpdesk ticket, so past both allowances a resolved conversation costs about $1.90. If a human replies within 72 hours of an AI resolution, it's charged as a ticket instead.

Aivastark includes the agent in a flat monthly plan against a credit allowance, so the cost per conversation falls as you fill the allowance; past it, overage is a flat $1.20–$4.00 per 1,000 credits.

### Can Aivastark look up a real order?

Yes. With Shopify connected, the agent reads order status, fulfilment and tracking live during the conversation, for orders from the last 60 days, so it answers from the actual order rather than a shipping policy page. It can also change the delivery address on an unfulfilled order, start a return request and add items to a cart, each only after the customer confirms. It doesn't issue refunds or cancel orders.

### Do I lose ticketing if I switch?
